All-Star Players
To answer a question on my last post, our players pack their own bags (with assistance from Vince Fresso, our clubhouse manager) for the All-Star Game. They travel with their own shoes (although many companies issue special edition spikes for the ASG … see Alex Rodriguez’s white shoes), socks, pants, belt, undershirts, guards, gloves, etc.
MLB provides special All-Star jerseys (BP), gamers (with arm patch) and hats (with logo).

was Podsednik not in friday’s game or something because I didn’t see him at like all…?
Podsednik had the night off vs. the lefty starting pitcher, CC Sabathia. Ozzie does a really good job of resting guys on occasion and bringing out the best in our bench.

I didn’t think I would ever say this…I am in favor of keeping Tikatsu and sending Orlando Hernandez somewhere. He lost tonights game before his teammates helped win it. I had a month of settled nerves but it looks like I need to get back on the sedatives if Ozzie is going to play The El Duche.
