Meeting
Someone mentioned a pregame, players-only meeting. No one here was aware of anything. The clubhouse was never closed. There was the usual hitters’ meeting before tonight’s game. This occurs before each series as Greg Walker sits down with the hitters and goes over the opposing team’s pitchers, strengths, weaknesses, tendencies, etc.

I heard it on the radio on my way home.
We need a spark bad for this offense. I realize KW is doing everything he can to get one but with Konerko out we need someone bad. So please do whatever you can to get one.
Just dont give up too much, i know how Ken williams has a history of giving too much for players
You know what i’d like to see. If the sox got Griffey and made him the DH , sure he could play the outfield but only to give someone a rest, if u put him as the DH it would be a smart move because he wouldn’t get hurt. I honestly dont like Carl Everett, never had and they gave up like 4-6 prospects for him. I dont know if any of them were any good but i just know that it was too much for him and 1 of those prospects is playing in the Major Leagues.
Being in the NY area.. I get to watch a lot of Yankee games.
What surprises me, and again it was apparent today causing the White Sox players to swing at pitches out of the strike zone as they were called strikes on them, but not on the Yankees.
It seems you have a strike zone for the American league and one for the Yankees. Especially A_rod which is extremely obvious.
