Tonight’s Lineup

Ozuna, 3B … Iguchi, 2B … Everett, LF … Konerko, DH … Rowand, CF … Dye, RF … AJ, C … Uribe, SS … Blum, 1B … Buehrle, LHP.

No more G-Off. He’s servicable at best, wretched at worst. Put my man Gload in, he’s got skills.

Why does Ozzie play Timo so much? He is slow and he cant hit!!!! Why is ozzie playing Blum when you have gload on bench?? Blum is a nice guy but come on!!!!

This is more like it. Multiple triples in clutc

Save Blum for the other positions. Gload should be used at first base when not playing Paulie at first. Besides Gload was hitting well in the minors and if given the chance he will hit. Look what he did last year when he was healthy. Blum did not look comfortable at first. He even said that first base was the hardest for him.

I was at the game on saturday and friday and when i got home i watched the games cause i Tivo-ed em. i watched last night game and i saw ya on TV scott..loooking good lol.
but anyways i think people need to cut timo some slack

Yeah, to answer these questions once and for all… the reason Ozzie plays Timo and Blum and Crede and everyone else who isn’t superstar enough for you is because Ozzie is the manager and you’re not; Ozzie knows what he’s doing and you don’t. Sheesh.

Obviously, that still doesn’t address the need to insert G-Off in places where Willie, Ozuna or Gload can do better. Just cut your losses and admit this trade was made during a time of uncertainty with Crede. Since then Pablo’s proved he’s solid at third, Willie’s done what’s needed at second, and we’ve all seen what Gload can do if given the opportunity. It seems like Ozzie trots G-Off out there out of obligation not out of necessity. He seems to need to validate the pickup. It’s got nothing to do with being a superstar. It’s got everything to do with getting this team on the fast track to something none of us have ever experienced…even if some players feelings get hurt in the process. So yeah, I completely trust in Ozzie’s ability as a coach, but in no way does that mean I’m going to blindly accept and agree with every roster move he makes. We’re Sox fans, that’s not in our nature.
