Why in the **** is Uribe hitting in the 2 hole, he is hitting like .245. I’d rather see Crede or Cintron hit there.

It’s embarrassing if this team has quit on this season. But at the same time, it’s embarrassing if they’re out there giving it their all too because they are just miserable.

I guess the latter is the better, as at least they’re trying. But boy do they stink.

I’m not too happy about going to Minnesota to see Buehrle’s next start. Should be terrible.

Hey, as of right now, they are looking pretty good! Seems like the White Sox are back in town. Too bad they took a vacation but nice to see they are back. Haeger is awesome so far today! Maybe the line up shake up worked! Whatever – I’m glad to see our boys back, at least for the last half of this game.

By the way, I hate these Fox announcers. I about choked when they said “struggling closer Jenks warming up in the bull pen”. Struggling? Sure he blew 2, then had a good one but last time I checked, not may closers struggling have 40+ saves.

Hmmm, my Fox went away to Alias…didn’t get to see the “second” half.

On my parents and sister’s graves, this is a true story…I was feeling crappy today…I think my co0ld has gotten worse….so I decided to skip the live game,to get all the stuff later….So I’m lying in bed, listening to Buehrle get hammered yet again, then the rain delay comes up….I start to feel a little better….so I pick up from the resumption of play….What happens? Good Time Charlie with the flutter ball comes in to dispose of the M’s….then the boys get off the deck against Seattle’s “bullpen of death”….The captain sparks the comeback, and the corpse lives for yet another day…..
BTW,I STILL feel lousy, but for today at least,I’m happy….What would make it perfect would be for Mich St.to take care of Charlie the Bartender and the Dame….that would make it a good night…..

Speaking of that….good night,WS Universe…..

I didn’t know I was going to repeat myself….repeat myself…..repeat myself….
ALL RIGHT,ALREADY,DUMBBELL!!!

WE GET THE JOKE!!!!!

Scott,

As we approach the end of a miserable season, may I suggest that you make SOME effort to maintain your crediblity?

Statements like “miracles do happen,” “we are really the best team in the division” and your “statistical items” which “jump at you” resemble George Bush’s statements on the war in Iraq.

And given the hosing which the front office has already given next year’s ticket holders, HOW, in heaven’s name, can you have the audacity to cite the SI study–based on THIS year’s ticket prices–that the Sox rank 8th in “bang for your buck” (though we certainly ARE getting BANGED!)???

The penultimate is your statement that in charging $249 for the right to buy weekend passes for Soxfest, the Sox wanted “more fans . . .to attend” and desired to “keep the price point reasonable for more fans”!!!! (I presume you didn’t “forget” to add the word “rich” in front of “fans”).

If you wish to associate yourself with the many ladies who are walking the street near the Cell, then keep writing this kind of nonsense. On the other hand, if you wish to maintain your integrity, then post the lineups.

PERIOD.

kolsens…..Well,here we go again…..Would YOU like to have Scott’s job? I’m sure that, with your honest approach to what is going on behind the scenes….with six weeks of your appointment….
YOU WOULD BE OUT ON YOUR BIG,FAT ASPERATIONS…..A public relations director HAS to put a POSITIVE spin on even the most NEGATIVE situation…..to make the organization look good and look like they care about ALL their fans….even the ones like yourself who have nothing better to do than to b**ch,moan and pick apart EVERY little scab…..

Trust me on this, sir….If you leave quietly now,and pinky swear vow to NEVER come back….WS Universe will NOT miss you one bit…..

kolsens….EVEN BIGGER PERIOD….with an exclamation point tacked on the end for good measure….
(by the way,for the grammer police out there, the sentence at the end of ther first paragraph should have finished thusly….”….within

six months of your appointment…..”

And if I knew correct grammar,I would spell grammar correctly…..Sorry about that…..It is just that I get so damned FED UP with fat heads like kolsens, who as stated have nothing better to do than knock EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY THING that this organization is attempting to do….Did you ever hear the word “cooperation”,kolsens? It means that if you want to gripe,do it into a bathtowel or something like that where the rest of us CAN’T hear you…..

Tom – I agree with you. With the pressures of Scott’s job, there is no way we can expect him to truly express his feelings on this blog.

I think he’s doing a wonderful job and I would never want him to feel like we’re frustrated with his blogging. He doesn’t HAVE to do this, you know. Thanks for everything, Scott.

BEARS

i agree with kolsens about the sox fest thing. that is true garbage. sox fest was supposed to be a chance for kids to meet their favorite players, and now most of the kids are priced out of the market. i however will be there, hopefully meeting the newest sox addition alfonso soriano, or yelling at kenny williams in a sox 2007 preview meeting.

i also made my plans official for minnesota this weekend. hopefully we wont lose a game between now and then so it means something, but even if it doesnt mean anything its better than going to work!!! maybe il have a chat with a few of the players. tell them my true opinions on how they play! how fun!

the solo homeruns that the sox have been hitting even caught up to my fantasy baseball team as i lost in the alcs! terrible week for me with my fantasy team and the white sox going down the chute in the same week.

how big are the thursday and friday losses to the lowly mariners??? we could be 3.5 out of the WC right now. instead we are 5.5. they gave up too early. i dont mind the fans giving up, but when the players do it- you have to worry. its time for some changes.
