I like this lineup, Let’s hope zumdumdum can lose his cool and kill another Gatorade cooler today. I think AJ should be particularly helpful in that dept. Let’s work him, go full in the counts and hope we can get to their pen early. He is an idiot, and a good pitcher, bring out the idiot in him today!
And small ball like yesterday, that was great.

Like Hawk said, Dye probably would have scored even if they hadn’t fumbled around with the ball, but that made it even more special. We’re finally on the board 1-0! Go White Sox!

Well you got a pitcher in there who’s got absolutely nothing today, and you leave him in there with the tying run at the plate. Brilliant Ozzie.
there are no words to describe scott linebrink….wait…here’s a couple…..washed up…..why ozzie even puts him in the game is beyond me. then to leave him in the game after walking two and giving up a home run is even more stupid…..put this one on ozzie.
I’m absolutely flabbergast by today’s game. We packaged it up and gave it to them with a bow. Worst loss in a long time. So much for Hawk’s claim that we have the best bullpen in the league.
Agreed steve. I could have gotten a hit off Linebrink today. Ozzie really needs to explain why he either went brain dead, or decided he just really didn’t want to win this one.
Tough loss. Doesn’t matter if it’s the cubs or anybody else. The best bullpen in baseball DOES NOT blow 4 run leads in the eigth inning. We DO NOT have the best bullpen in baseball contrary to what Hawk keeps saying.
This was Ozzie’s loss – anyone could see that Scott Linebrink wasn’t “on” today. He should have been pulled much sooner.
This loss really hurt!

It’s still a great bullpen. One that almost every manager in baseball would trade for his own.
Linebrink just had a bad day. Happens to the best of them. Time to move on to Cincinnati and get back on the winning track.
