Family Field Day Saturday
Monday, May 10, 2010
For just this once, go ahead, run across the field.
The always-popular Family Field Day and Chicago White Sox Charities Garage Sale takes place this Saturday, May 15.
Fans can make “the Catch” that saved Mark Buehrle’s Perfect Game, warm up in the bullpen and dive across the outfield, all with Roger “the Sodfather” Bossard’s blessing. In addition to playing catch, fans can shop for game-worn jerseys and equipment (some as low as $20) used by their favorite players and priced to sell in the annual Garage Sale. And to complete the day, tours of the home clubhouse will be made available to fans for a donation of $10 per adult and $5 per child (all to Chicago White Sox Charities).
Tickets to Family Field Day are $25 per adult and $12 per child. Fans can sign up for three different on-field time sessions 9:30, 11:00 and 12:30 at whitesox.com/community (or click here). The Garage Sale will take place from 9:00 am-2:00 pm. No admission ticket is necessary.

Every year we go to the White Sox Family Field Day & Garage Sale. And every year we still get the same thrills and chills when we walk out onto the field. Always. It never changes.
It’s a very short hour. Bring your camera and have a great time!
Praying for good weather this weekend!

Sounds like a good time, but alas I will be out of town, since I have my college graduation. Maybe next year!
