1929 – Ted Lyons pitched all nine innings and scored two runs in the White Sox 10-2 rout of the Philadelphia Athletics.

1938 – Down two runs heading to the ninth inning, the White Sox scored three runs and held on for the 7-6 win over the Cleveland Indians.

1949 – The White Sox come out on top in a 11-10 shootout over the Indians.  Marino Pieretti picked up the win in relief.

1959 – Bob Shaw pitched a complete game shutout in the White Sox 4-0 win at Boston.  

1965 – The first-place White Sox topped Oakland 6-3, improving the team’s record to 17-8.  Gary Peters pitched eight strong innings and picked up the win while Eddie Fisher picked up the save.

1977 – Alan Bannister collected two RBI in the White Sox 5-3 win over Cleveland.  Steve Stone got the win, moving to 3-3 on the season, while Lerrin LaGrow picked up his fifth save.

1982 – Utilizing 20 hits, the White Sox trounced the Brewers 13-2 as Lamarr Hoy improved to 7-0 on the year.

1992 – Robin Ventura drove in a run in the top of the first inning, the only run of the game as the Sox beat the Brewers 1-0.   Kirk McCaskill limited Milwaukee to two hits over 7.1 IP and Bobby Thigpen picked up the save.

2000 – Jeff Abbott hit a pinch-hit two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth with two outs to give the White Sox a thrilling 4-3 win over the Twins.
