1927 – Tommy Thomas picked up his eighth win of the year, limiting the Tigers to one run in the White Sox 3-1 victory.
1931 – Down three in the bottom of the ninth, the White Sox score four runs in a dramatic 5-4 over Detroit.
1959 – Early Wynn earned his seventh win of the season and Earl Torgeson drove in two runs as the White Sox topped the Indians 5-1.
1967 – Joel Horlen remained perfect on the season as he moved to 6-0 after limiting the Angels in three hits in a 3-1 win.
1974 – Pat Kelly drove in a pair of runs which proved to be the difference in the White Sox 5-3 over the Yankees in New York.
1983 – LaMarr Hoyt pitched a complete game while Harold Baines and Ron Kittle combined to drive in the three runs of the White Sox 3-2 win over Texas.
1994 – Wilson Alvarez outdueled Mike Mussina, throwing a complete game shutout as the first-place White Sox topped the first-place Orioles 3-0.
2000 – The White Sox scored early and often in their 14-3 drubbing of the Indians. Jose Valentine drove in six runs and scored four times.
