Final Man Vote
It was tough to head into the clubhouse today and tell PK that he had finished third in the AL Final Man vote, even though that was the expected result.
Typical PK, he thanked me, our employees who worked on the Pauliewood campaign and all of the voters who cared enough to give him support.

Tonight, Paul, his wife, Jen and several teammates and their wives are taking part in a charity fundraising event downtown as the Sox players and wives become celebrity servers for the night to benefit Chicago White Sox Charities.
Typical PK.

I consider it a priviledge to watch this guy perform both on and off the field. He may not play in the “all star” game but I challenge anyone to identify someone who more completely exemplifies the meaning of the term “ALL STAR”.
I couldn’t have said it better myself, Buster. Konerko isn’t just a great player, he’s a great person. I’m glad he’s the quiet leader of this team, and he sets a great example for others to follow.
As to yesterday’s game, what else can you say about Johnny Danks? Absolute masterful performance. I hate that the no-no got broken up, but the W is more important anyway. Now if we can only get to those pesky Royals. Go White Sox!
