Special SoxFest Coming Up
January 5, 2011
It might be early January, but it’s time to start to thinking about White Sox baseball and SoxFest. Our annual fan event (January 21-23) is always fun and should be especially exciting after all of the offseason moves made by the team.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet Adam Dunn and Jesse Crain for the first time, as well as the chance to welcome back Paul Konerko and A.J. Pierzynski. A number of other current coaches, players and past players are scheduled to attend as well, including:
Gordon Beckham, Mark Buehrle, Ozzie Guillen, Harold Baines, Don Cooper, Jeff Cox, Ramon Castro, Roberto Hernandez, Edwin Jackson, Ron Kittle, Brent Lillibridge, Minnie Minoso, Brent Morel, Juan Nieves, Juan Pierre, Alexei Ramirez, Mark Salas, Chris Sale, Sergio Santos, Moose Skowron, Mark Teahen, Matt Thornton, Jose Valentin and Greg Walker, as well as broadcasters Ed Farmer, Hawk Harrelson, Darrin Jackson and Steve Stone.
This year, we’re also offering the opportunity to meet one of the franchise’s greatest players, Frank Thomas, through the Big Hurt Experience. Only fans who purchase a hotel package and weekend pass(es) are eligible to purchase the special experience, which includes a private autograph session with the White Sox great.
Fans have until this Monday, January 10 to book SoxFest two-night hotel packages, and have the opportunity to purchase weekend passes. For more information visit whitesox.com/SoxFest.
