Sox Win!

With today’s 6-2 win over the Royals, the White Sox are back to .500 at 60-60 and now trail the Tigers by just 4.0 games in the American League Central race.

Since bottoming out at 11-22 on May 6 (last place, 11 games out), the Sox have gone 49-38, tying the Tigers for the best record in the Central.

Manager Ozzie Guillen said postgame today that he expects catcher A.J. Pierzynski to be back in the lineup Tuesday night when the Sox open a three-game series with Cleveland.

Wow! We actually beat KC, got back to .500, and now it’s on to first place, right? (A girl can dream, can’t she?)

Go SOX!!!

So can a boy! We’ll keep the faith together, Peggy….. Go Gavin and go Sox’11….j.k.

So many games against Cleveland and Minnesota left..anything can happen.

Congratulations Jim Thome on #600.

Congrats to Jim Thome on his 600th HR! A classy guy who deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.
Now on to business…
We took care of KC. Now, let’s take care of the Tribe and keep moving up the standings. Go White Sox!
