Minoso Hall of Fame Bid Book

Although we are all disappointed by Minnie Minoso coming up just a few votes short on the Golden Era ballot, we still celebrate his monumental career. As Jerry Reinsdorf told Minnie, “You are in our Hall of Fame. We love you,” and that goes for all of us here at the White Sox. I urge you to take some time to flip through the PDF of the book that we created for his bid to see for yourself what Minnie means to the game of baseball.

Thanks for the link to the book, Scott. I haven’t read it yet, but I plan to. It’s a shame Minnie isn’t in the Hall of Fame, and I hope this will be rectified one day.
Also, I want to wish Sergio good luck in Toronto. He has a very promising career as a closer, but I wish it would have been in a White Sox uniform. It looks like we’re in rebuilding mode, guys. I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, and I will still root hard for the Sox, but I think we’re going to have to have lowered expectations for this group in the years to come. Please prove me wrong in ’12. Go White Sox!
