As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, the Windy City ThunderBolts of the independent Frontier League last night retired the numbers of White Sox pitcher Dylan Axelrod, who starred for the Bolts in 2009, and Mike Kashirsky, now a Sox pre-game instructor and batting pitcher, who was a longtime player, coach and manager with the Windy City franchise.

Axe took to Twitter to thank the ThunderBolts and a couple of his teammates for their support:

@DylanAxelrod_33: Also great to be retired with former WC  bolt manager and current @whitesox bp man Ka$h.  Thanks to Jordan Danks and @Areed43 for comin out!
