Quote of the Day
In just a little more than a week, Sunday, July 27, Frank Thomas will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, a landmark day for Sox fans. Here’s part of what The Big Hurt said today on a conference call with reporters:
“I’m looking forward to the 27th. For me, it’s still a dream and I don’t think it will hit me until I get there next week…We’re going to have a great celebration, my family is ecstatic. I’m (expecting) a big crowd with three great players and three great managers being inducted. When I look out at that field, it will be very special and very touching.”
