An outstanding performance by Jose Quintana and a four-run fifth inning that erased a 3-0 deficit paved the way for the Sox’ 4-3 comeback victory last night over the Rays…Quintana won his ninth game of the season, allowing just one earned run in 7.1 innings of work. “Q” is now 3-0 with a 1.65 ERA in his last four starts…Avi Garcia drove in the tying and go-ahead runs and Alexei Ramirez (No. 70) and Jose Abreu (104) delivered an RBI each in the decisive fifth…Jake Petricka (0.2 IP), Eric Surkamp (0.1) and Zach Putnam (0.2) finished off the Rays with scoreless ball in relief of Quintana. Putnam got credit for his sixth save.
