White Sox vs. Cardinals at U.S. Cellular Field (7:10 p.m. CT, CSN) in the finale of the two-game series and six-game homestand. Probable Starters: LHP John Danks (5-8, 4.98) for the Sox, RHP Lance Lynn (7-5, 2.79) for St. Louis.

Last Night’s Highlights
Tyler Saladino (No. 18 pictured below) homered for the second straight game, a two-run shot, collected a pair of singles and scored twice in the Sox’ 8-5 loss. He’s now batting .355 with the two homers and four RBI in his short time in the big leagues…Geovany Soto belted a solo home run, his sixth, and Jose Abreu and Melky Cabrera each drove in a run.

Chicago Beer Geeks enjoy Specialty Beer Night, Rave About the Ballpark
During Specialty Beer Night, the Sox hosted Chicago Beer Geeks, a group of local beer and drinks bloggers who have a loyal online following. Below is a post from their visit:
“Fan amenities are a big reason why (U.S. Cellular Field) is the best venue in town to catch a game in my opinion. This place has it all; a fundamentals deck in left field where kids can run bases and take batting practice. There’s a sports bar in the bullpen, rain rooms for cool mist on host summer days. Not to mention nine sculptures dedicated to White Sox legends throughout the park.”
White Sox vs. Indians at Progressive Field, Cleveland (6:10 p.m. CT, CSN) in the opener of a four-game series and eight-game road trip that continues with four in Boston. Probable Starters: RHP Jeff Samardzija (6-5, 4.08) for the Sox, RHP Trevor Bauer (8-6, 4.03) for the Tribe.
