Erik Johnson Set to Battle A’s in Game 3 of Series

White Sox vs. A’s at U.S. Cellular Field (7:10 p.m. CT, WPWR) in the third game of the four-game series. Probable Starters: RHP Erik Johnson (1-0, 3.27) for the Sox, RHP Cody Martin (2-4, 6.57) for Oakland.
Johnson is set to make his third start of the season, second at home and first vs. Oakland. In his last start on September 11 vs. the Twins he had a no decision, allowing just one run on four hits with six strikeouts in five innings of work.
Last Night’s Highlights
Melky Cabrera and Alexei Ramirez each belted his 10th homer of the season and Jose Abreu and Adam Eaton both had three-hit nights along with an RBI in the loss to the A’s…Reliever Matt Albers made his career-high 15th scoreless appearance (18.2 IP).
