Rodon, Sox Look to Start New Streak vs. Birds

White Sox vs. Orioles at Oriole Park, Camden Yards, Baltimore (6:05 p.m. CT, CSN) in the second game of the four-game series. The O’s prevailed in Game 1 last night, snapping the Sox’ six-game winning streak. Starting Pitchers: LHP Carlos Rodon (1-2, 4.06) for the Sox, RHP Mike Wright (1-2, 6.23) for the O’s.
Rodon is set to make his fifth start of the season. He received a no-decision in his last start, tossing 6.2 innings, allowing only two runs on two hits with a season-high seven strikeouts.

Robertson on Bereavement List
The Sox have placed closer David Robertson on the Bereavement List and recalled infielder Carlos Sanchez from Class AAA Charlotte. Under MLB rules, Robertson must remain on the list for a minimum of three days and not more than seven.
Sanchez is hitting .309 with four doubles, three homers, nine RBI, nine runs scored and six stolen bases over 20 games with Charlotte this season. He is currently tied for third in the International League in hits (25) and total bases (38).
