Last Night’s Highlights
Chris Sale, who allowed just one run and four hits while striking out nine in seven innings, was his vintage self as he became the first major-league pitcher to win 12 games…Tim Anderson led off the game with his first major-league home run (click on top link below)…Todd Frazier knocked out his 20th homer of the season, a solo shot (click on bottom link)…David Robertson chalked up his 18th save as the Sox defeated the Red Sox 3-1 for the second straight night.

Prior to last night’s game, the White Sox placed RHP Zach Putnam on the 15-day disabled list and recalled RHP Chris Beck from Class AAA Charlotte.
