Today’s News

Last Night’s Highlights

Carlos Rodon pitched six strong innings, Omar Narvaez broke a 2-2 tie with a bloop RBI single that was originally called foul but overturned by a White Sox challenge and Adam Eaton homered (9) in the eighth for some insurance as the Sox grounded the Orioles, 4-2.

Rodon gave up just one earned run on five hits and two walks along with seven strikeouts, at one time striking out five in a row.

Tyler Saladino added a solo homer, No. 6, and Melky Cabrera doubled in a run and singled.

Jacob Turner (0.2), Nate Jones (1.1) and David Robertson (1.0) pitched scoreless ball in relief of Rodon. Jones (5-2) got credit for the win, Robertson earned his 27th save.

Enjoy the Melky RBI double in the first inning that made it 1-0, the Saladino home run in the third that made it 2-0, the Narvaez hit that gave the Sox a 3-2 lead and Eaton’s blast:
