Tonight’s Game

White Sox vs. A’s at U.S. Cellular Field (7:10 p.m. CT, CSN) in the opener of a three-game series and nine-game homestand that continues with two vs. the Phillies and four vs. the Mariners. Starting Pitchers: RHP James Shields (5-14, 5.78) for the Sox, RHP Kendall Graveman (8-8, 4.37) for the A’s.

Last Night’s Highlights

In the 5-4 loss to the Tribe in the series and nine-game road trip finale, Carlos Rodon pitched six strong innings for the second straight start, giving up just two runs while striking out five and walking none (click on top link below)…Justin Morneau had a bases-clearing double (click on bottom link), driving in three in the first and Omar Narvaez singled in a run in the seventh.
