This Afternoon’s Game
White Sox vs. Indians at Progressive Field, Cleveland (2:05 p.m., CT, CSN). Starters: RHP Scott Carroll (3-5, 4.52) for the Sox, RHP Zach McAllister (3-4, 5.89) for the Tribe. Carroll was superb in his last outing, tossing 6.2 scoreless innings and allowing one hit in last Monday’s 4-0 victory over the Red Sox.

Adam Dunn belted his 14th homer of the season, 100th in a Sox uniform and the 454th of his career (click on link below) in last night’s loss to the Indians. Dunn needs eight more to tie Jose Canseco for 34th on the all-time home run list and 11 to equal Hall of Famer Dave Winfield for 33rd place…Adrian Nieto singled, doubled and drove in a run…Adam Eaton collected an RBI double.
