Alexei, Avisail, Jeff and Conor Gillaspie each drove in a run…The Sox finished the homestand at 6-4, highlighted by a three-game sweep over the Yankees and taking two of three from the Tigers.

U.S. Cellular Field will host ESPN’s Friday Night Fights tomorrow evening. Headlining the seven-bout card is a scheduled 12-rounder between IBO Light Heavyweight World Champion Andrzej Fonfara and the former world champion Gabriel Campillo. It is the first time the Sox have hosted a boxing match since September 25, 1962, when Sonny Liston knocked out Floyd Patterson in the first round to win the heavyweight title.

Gordon continues to shine. With his three hits yesterday afternoon Beckham is now hitting .308, which would rank him seventh in the American League with the necessary plate appearances.
