White Sox vs. Tigers (1:10 p.m. CT, WGN) in the rubber match of the three-game set and eight-game homestand, which began with a series win over the Twins. Starting Pitchers: RHP Lucas Giolito (0–1, 6.00, pictured above) for the Sox, LHP Matt Boyd (5–7, 6.24) for Detroit.

Next Up

Following today’s series finale with the Tigers and an off day tomorrow, the Sox travel to Minnesota for a three-game series Tuesday through Thursday. Then it’s back to Guaranteed Rate Field on Friday for a 10-game homestand vs the Rays (three), Indians (four) and Giants (three).

Roster Moves

Prior to last night’s game, the White Sox placed Nicky Delmonico on the 10-day DL with a sprained right wrist. The Sox also purchased the contract of catcher Rob Brantly from Class AAA Charlotte.

Prospect Watch

OF Luis Robert (pictured above) delivered his third straight multi-hit game yesterday for the White Sox club in the Dominican Summer League. He went 3-for-4 with a double, run batted, run scored and a stolen base. Robert is hitting .310 for the season.

RHP Michael Kopech, making his second start for Charlotte, tossed five strong innings last night vs. Gwinnett. He gave up a lone run, two hits and three walks while striking out six…1B Casey Gillaspie went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for the Knights.

OF Eloy Jiménez belted a two-run homer and a pair of singles last night for Class AA Birmingham vs. Tennessee.

3B Jake Burger went 2-for-4 with an RBI for Class A Kannapolis vs. Lakewood.
