Heroes Beyond the Diamond — Ashley Ice

This week’s Heroes Beyond the Diamond feature highlights Ashley Ice, a licensed social worker and clinical advocate at Hephzibah Children’s Association in Oak Park. Ashley has continued to facilitate supervision, protection and other important services for children in specialized foster care, and this period of social distancing hasn’t slowed her down one bit. In fact, she’s doubled weekly Zoom sessions with clients to maintain continuity of care and to ensure these children are equipped with the at-home means and educational resources they need during these challenging times.

Ashley’s leadership and relentless effort to create and maintain special connections with foster children are nothing short of inspirational. The Chicago White Sox stand with you, Ashley!
