The White Sox bullpen held off the Guardians while the offense took flight. The Chicago White Sox earned the win over A.L. Central Division foe, the Cleveland Guardians, 3–0.

Touki Toussaint started on the bump for the Good Guys, throwing 4 strikeouts over 5.0 scoreless innings pitched.

The two powerhouse hitters put the team in the lead.

Luis Robert Jr. launched a ball into center field for his 29th home run of the season, and the first lead of the game.

Jake Burger followed suit in the sixth inning. After crushing two home runs the night before, Burger smashed his 25th home run of the 2023 season. He launched the ball 450 feet, straight into center field.

Jake Burger is the only player in MLB to homer in three straight games three different times this year.

Relief pitcher Tanner Banks took over for Toussaint throwing another scoreless 3.0 innings for the White Sox.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Oscar Colás drove Elvis Andrus on an RBI single hit into left field. The run put the White Sox up 3–0.

After his performance tonight, Eloy Jiménez has hit safely in eight straight games, going 13–32 (.406) with three doubles, one home run, six RBI and four runs scored.

Gregory Santos pitched a solid ninth inning, securing the shutout victory.
