Today, offensive lineman Kyle Long — son of Hall of Fame defensive lineman and broadcaster Howie and brother of Rams DL

Chris — stands as the №1 draft pick of the Bears out of the University of Oregon. Five years ago, he was a lefthanded pitcher who reached 97 mph and was promising enough to be selected by the Sox in the 23rd round of the June draft. Instead of signing a pro contract, Kyle went to Florida State on a baseball scholarship and then ultimately turned to football.
