Touki Toussaint took the mound for his 10th start of the 2023 season and his 14th appearance with the White Sox.

The White Sox started off hot with a Luis Robert Jr. double in the bottom of the first inning. Eloy Jiménez drove in Robert Jr. on an RBI single to center field giving the Good Guys the first lead of the night, 1–0.

In the bottom of the second inning, Lenyn Sosa hit a solo home run to left center field to make the score 2–0.

Following a Tim Anderson double and an intentional walk for Eloy Jiménez, Yoán Moncada hit a 3-run home run to expand the White Sox lead to 5–0.

Andrew Benintendi joined in on the home run frenzy with a solo home run to left center field, making it a 6–0 lead for the White Sox.

The White Sox defense proved strong all game with a diving catch by Trayce Thompson and a double play to keep the Athletics to 2 runs.

White Sox pitching totaled 8 strikeouts while only allowing 4 hits. Touki Toussaint earned the win after going 5.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 3BB, 4 K. Eloy Jiménez finished the game 2-for-2 with 1 RBI.

The Chicago White Sox defeated the Oakland Athletics 6–2 at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago, IL.
